Too Small for Architel? The CSP program is for you!
Each day we receive one or more calls from prospective clients whose companies are too small to justify our minimum monthly fee ($2,500). More often than not these small businesses are in the middle of an “IT crisis” and need help right away. In the past we would apologize for not being able to help. We decided to start the Architel Certified Support Provider (CSP) program for two primary reasons, a) as a way to help small businesses and b) as a way to get to know potential new hires for Architel. Here is how the program works:
Frequently, our employees take inbound calls from companies who need one or two hours of support. The CSP program is perfect for technology professionals who operate as independent contractors. Becoming a CSP is as easy as 1,2,3:
- Step One: Complete criminal background check
- Step Two: Pass one or more online skills assessments
- Step Three: Execution of Architel Certified Support Provider Agreement
How does the program work? Once a CSP has been accepted in the program his cell phone number is entered into the CSP hunt group. When Architel receives a support request we will transfer the lead into the CSP hunt group where the caller will hear a pre-recorded message explaining the CSP program. While that message is being played, each CSP will be called simultaneously by our phone system. The CSP will hear a simple message explaining there is a support prospect on the line and given the option to press one if they can accept the call. The first CSP to press one will be connected to the prospect. Should the CSP talk to the prospect and determine he cannot help the caller he can return the prospect to the CSP hunt group and the process will repeat.
Each prospect will hear the terms of the CSP program, specifically:
- Service calls are billed at $125 with a one hour minimum
- Payment is due upon completion of service call
CSP is required to remit 20% of gross revenue collected to Architel Holdings LLC within 15 days of receipt. After first service call, CSP may enter into an alternative agreement with client for a reduced service fee, a flat monthly fee or a fixed bid amount. CSP’s obligation to remit 20% of gross revenue collected continues (in the case of hardware sales CSP is only required to remit 20% of gross margin). CSP’s who refer Architel traditional clients (businesses with 20-100 employees) who enter into service contracts with the company will receive $6,000 per year per referral (paid quarterly).
