Microsoft announced Windows Phone 7 in Spain this week. The function and look and feel of the phone puts it on par with Android and iPhone. I am really excited Microsoft is getting their act together on the phone side of the house. Windows Mobile, while extremely popular, hasn’t been much fun to support. Microsoft’s failure in this space opened up room for RIM’s Blackberry devices – which are an even bigger nightmare to support. If Microsoft can launch Phone 7 and have phones every bit as cool as the iPhone or Android phones it is going to make our lives much easier. Native devices that work for enterprises! What a concept.
