Architel® and MightyView, a leading software developer and application service provider (ASP) serving the educational and government marketplace, today announced that they have signed an agreement whereby Architel® will acquire substantially all the assets of MightyView, Inc.

Along with the proprietary SuperNOC™ network monitoring and management platform, Architel® is also acquiring several significant customer contracts including a multi-year contract with Sylvan Learning Systems, Inc. (SLVN –NASDAQ) a $1.6 billion dollar provider of lifelong educational services. Under the contract, Architel® will provide end-to-end managed enterprise information technology (IT) services and solutions. Architel® will continue providing MightyView’s entire suite of enterprise applications, systems, network and security services. Architel® plans to retain several key MightyView employees, including the Vice President of Operations and the Chief Architect, Robert Cochran and James Anderson, the Manager of Support Operations. The SuperNOC™ will be relocated to Architel’s NOC and colocation facilities located in the Dallas ‘Building Which Shall Not be Named’.
