Architel Names CTO
Comments (0)Architel® today announced the appointment of Michael J. Smedley as the company’s chief technical officer. Smedley will be responsible for developing and executing Architel’s technical strategy as well as working closely with customers and partners to identify key enabling technologies.
Smedley was previously lead architect for Architel’s deployment of its decentralized network monitoring platform and the integration of MightyView. He played a key role in building Architel’s leadership in the delivery of IT services via a fractional ownership model; the company now has more than 49 fractional IT customers. Smedley joined Architel® in 2002 as manager of the network operations center and was involved in software development and product management activities.

Prior to joining Architel®, Smedley was a senior consultant for Houston based VeriCenter for five years and prior to that he was a senior engineer for The Future Now for four years.
