Architel announced the appointment of Alexander Muse as chief executive officer. Muse brings extensive experience successfully developing and marketing high-value technology solutions.
“We are excited that Alexander has joined the Architel team. He’s the kind of leader that will aggressively grow the company, while complementing the existing team,” Scott Ryan, recently appointed president of Architel, said. “We’re confident that the combination of Alexander’s leadership skills, his ability to manage sales and marketing efforts, and Architel’s market momentum, is a winning formula.”
Before joining Architel, Muse served as CEO of Dallas-based LayerOne, a leading provider of telecom services in Illinois, Florida and Texas. Muse founded the company in early 1999, completely restructuring the operation in 2001. Under Muse’s leadership, LayerOne became profitable in 2002, increasing revenue by more than 70% while maintaining profit margins greater than 40%.
“I’m convinced that Architel has all the elements needed to succeed: a unique business model, a compelling business proposition, a strong track record of delivering customer value and a excellent team,” Muse said. “I believe that with this strong foundation, I can help drive the company to reach its potential as a leading IT services company.
Muse adds, “Although many IT service providers offer solutions to small and medium size businesses, I was drawn to Architel’s ability to add real, measurable value for their customers. By aligning the interests of the customer and the IT provider, Architel provides the rare “win-win” solution. Architel’s fractional approach gives companies a Fortune 1000 IT staff at the price of an entry level IT resource. Doing more for less is important to every company in today’s economy.”
