DFW Homeland Security Contract

Architel® announced today that DFW Homeland Security Alliance has signed its first information technology (IT) outsourcing contract with Architel®.
Architel® has provided IT outsourcing services to Dallas businesses since 2001. Under the terms of the agreement, Architel® will manage the Alliance’s IT operations and provide it with a broad range of IT services, including operation and support of the Alliance electronic communication system, data center management, help desk support, applications support, network management, desktop support, and other consultative services.
“The coordinated efforts between Architel® and DFW Homeland Security Alliance help to streamline administrative and business processes for us,” said Tony Smith, Alliance Chairman. “This partnership furthers the Alliance’s mission to bring companies together to assist agencies responsible for public safety and regional security.”
The DFW Homeland Security Alliance, which formed in October 2002, is comprised of representatives from the public and private sectors who are experts in emergency services, public health, defense industrial base, energy, postal and shipping, government, banking and finance, information and telecom, and transportation. These referenced areas of expertise have been identified by the Federal Department of Homeland Security as relating to “critical infrastructure” segments.
“Architel® is committed to successfully delivering IT solutions to local government and quasi-governmental organizations such as the Alliance,” commented Alexander Muse, CEO of Architel®. “Relationships such as the one with DFW Homeland Security Alliance form the foundation of our growth, and solidify our course for success.”
